DESMOND: New Curriculum

Your new Curriculum

You may have heard that the original DESMOND Newly Diagnosed & Foundation Modules have been refreshed and revised into a new edition. We are pleased to say that this process is now complete and that all current Educators can now access their copies of the 4th edition.

How you obtain your brand new copy

You must be an active DESMOND Educator in a locality currently running DESMOND sessions. Distributing more than 750 copies of the new curriculum across the UK and Ireland is quite a logistical challenge, as you can imagine! In order to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible for your benefit and ours, this is how we propose to do it:

  • Step 1. All Educators send National Office (NO) their preferred address to which they are happy to have packages sent. Please email NO or fax on 0116 258 6165.(The curriculum and QD box will be 4cm long,12cm deep,34cm wide and will require a signature on receipt)

  • Step 2. Once NO has received your address it will be passed to our distribution centre who will send you a letter packet by return.

  • Step 3. You will receive a packet containing a letter and a large, padded Stamped Addressed Envelope (SAE). Please read the letter, complete the return slip as instructed, put into the SAE along with your old curriculum and send it back to us in the post.

  • Step 4. Once our distribution centre receives your packet, they will dispatch your new curriculum and QD box within 24 hours.

  • Step 5. You will receive your new package no later than 5 working days after dispatch.

Problem solving

Please don’t forget to complete the return slip and send back to us. If you don’t, we will not be able to send out your new curriculum. We understand that this distribution process will leave you ‘curriculum-less’ for approximately 5 working days, and we will do our very best to get your new copy out to you as quick as possible.

If you have a DESMOND patient session imminent, you might want to plan the timing of the ‘handover’ of your curriculum to fit in with your needs.
