Cheryl Taylor, one of DESMOND’s most influential Trainers and a respected dietitian in her own right, has recently been appointed to the newly established English Board of the British Dietetic Association.
As part of its 2009-2012 plan, the BDA has created an English Board as one of the key partnerships to assist the Association in the delivery of its strategic themes. The Board will be responsible for responding and influencing government health policies from a dietetics perspective. Cheryl Taylor will join other distinguished colleagues from a range of backgrounds to represent the diversity of dietitians working in healthcare.
Cheryl was one of the first Educators trained to deliver DESMOND programmes in the UK.
She has since contributed to the professional development framework in DESMOND as a member of the National Training Team and Training Strategy Group.
The DESMOND Collaborative are delighted to see Cheryl receive this much deserved national recognition.
