Local referral pathway to DESMOND locally: GP, practice nurse, allied health professional, diabetes consultant, self referral.
The DESMOND Tutors are dietitians, nurses, and podiatrists who work as part of the diabetes service across Central Lancashire.
From January 2010, we will not only run more Newly Diagnosed and BME DESMOND programmes but we will also be able to offer DESMOND Foundation for people who have had their Diabetes for more than a year.
We run DESMOND as a full day or 2 half days (including some evenings) on various days Monday to Friday at venues across Central Lancashire.
DESMOND is fun, free and informative and we look forward to seeing you at one of our sessions.
