DESMOND Lay Educator Study completes pilot phase

Thanks to the many people who volunteered to train as lay educators, and to the health care professionals taking part, the DESMOND Lay Educator Study has successfully completed its pilot phase.

There was a keen response in Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Leicester City, Leicestershire, County & Rutland, Peterborough and West Lothian where the study is taking place, and all 12 lay educators were appointed.

We’ll keep you posted on this website as things progress.

Thank you once again and watch this space!

If you are interested in finding out more about the study then please contact Panna Mandalia or Dr Marian Carey on (0116) 2587290 or email Panna Mandalia at panna.mandalia@uhl-tr.nhs.uk.
