We have been delivering DESMOND in Walsall since 2006 and now have 5 Health Care Professionals trained to deliver the programme. We deliver DESMOND in various location and venues around Walsall. The programme is run as a full day or two half days throughout the working week with the occasional Saturday to suit individual needs. Each session is delivered by 2 of our trained Health Care Professionals to an average of 10 patients plus a friend, relative or partner if they choose to bring someone along.
We have had very positive feedback from all of our sessions and patients find it very helpful in managing and taking control of their own diabetes.
