Modules Delivered:

DESMOND Newly Diagnosed module available (for patients up to 12 months post diagnosis)

Overview DESMOND is offered as 1st line education for people newly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

Empowering patients to become more informed and therefore better able to manage their diabetes. The programme also offers the opportunity to meet and share experiences with both health care professionals and others also newly diagnosed with diabetes. We run 9 sessions monthly across Edinburgh, East, Mid and West Lothian and offer the course in either one full day or two half days.
